A tourist reveals his trick for keeping power on in his hotel room after leaving: "Sometimes you want to leave a device charging."

Entering a hotel room in Spain for the first time is an incredible feeling, but sometimes there can be a few hiccups that make the start of your stay a little complicated. For example, many solo travelers receive only one keycard to enter the room, and while they won't have any problems while inside, they'll lose power when they leave, as they can't leave another one inserted in the electrical sensor.
This can be a real pain if you want to leave an electronic device, such as a cell phone or laptop, charging. A user has provided the solution to this problem through a video posted on his TikTok profile, in which he gives all travelers a foolproof trick for leaving their room without losing power. Plus, it's very simple and doesn't require spending a single euro.
How to always have electricity in your hotel roomAs the user explains in the video, some hotels only give guests one card to enter their room, making it impossible to leave one inserted in the reader inside the room to keep the power on if they want to leave. However, what not many people know is that it doesn't have to be the hotel's card that's inside the sensor; it can be any card of a similar size.
This way, if you want to leave the room, simply insert a public transport pass or other type of card into the reader slot and you can keep the power on inside the room without having to be inside. This simple but effective trick is very useful when you want to leave a device charging or if you want to keep the air conditioning on in the summer.
This way, you don't have to resign yourself to being left without power while you're not in your room. If two cards are provided at check-in , there wouldn't be any problem, but if the guest only receives one, simply insert a different one into the reader to maintain power at all times and thus be able to use the outlets without being present; all without having to spend a single euro or be in the room all the time.
